This 6-hour course offers a clear, evidence-based look at marijuana — from what it is and how it affects the body and brain, to the laws that govern its use and the myths that often cloud public understanding. Designed to inform rather than lecture, the course walks students through short- and long-term effects, the impact on memory and decision-making, the legal landscape across the U.S. and specifically in Georgia, and a myth-vs-fact breakdown grounded in current research.

The course closes with practical, actionable tools: healthy alternatives for managing stress, a decision-making framework for weighing pros and cons, and a resource map connecting students to real support systems. By the end, students will have the knowledge and confidence to make informed choices about marijuana use.

What’s included:

  • 6 lessons combining research-based content and guided reflection
  • 2 knowledge-check quizzes on legal facts and common myths
  • Practical decision-making and resource-mapping tools
  • Curated list of official health resources and support hotlines
  • Approx. 6 hours to complete
In each lesson, you will need to complete the reflection form and remain on the lesson for the required 60-minute reflection period. The timer will continue counting while you are actively viewing the lesson.
Once the full 60 minutes have passed and you have completed your reflection, mark the lesson as Completed. You can then continue to the next lesson.
