This Minor in Possession of Alcohol Awareness Program is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of underage drinking — its physical, legal, and social consequences. Drawing from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Family Guide to Underage Drinking Prevention, this course explores how alcohol affects the developing teenage brain and body, the legal risks minors face when possessing or consuming alcohol, and the role that family communication and clear rules play in prevention.
This course includes:
- 6 comprehensive lessons
- 2 knowledge-check quizzes
- A final exam of 10 multiple-choice questions (70% passing score required)
- Practical reflection exercises in every lesson
- Approximately 2 hours of course content
